Reach the entrance
Complete the current Garden cleaning objective and inspect newly available paths. The community guide says this progress unlocks access to the Hedge Maze. It places the entrance across from the Pool area entrance.
Use the Pool as the main landmark. If the maze gate remains locked, read its current prompt and return to the Garden completion point. Look for unfinished cleaning or an unclaimed reward. The source does not prove that a specific key is used, so do not assume the Grand Tree Key opens this entrance.

Documented turn sequence
Start from the maze entrance and reset your orientation. Then follow this order:
- Enter and go left.
- Take the first right.
- Take the first left.
- Go left again.
- Go right.
- Go left.
- Continue toward the wall.
- Look to the left for the Secret Star.
Interpret “first” as the first open branch after completing the prior turn. Walk to each junction before deciding; turning early at a decorative gap can shift the entire route.
The final instruction says the star is on the left near the wall. Confirm the Claim prompt or star counter. No reward, requirement, or completion bonus is asserted here.
A reliable maze method
Keep the entrance behind you and perform one instruction per junction. After every turn, rotate the camera so forward matches the new corridor. Count the steps aloud or use a short note: L, R, L, L, R, L. This prevents the camera direction from becoming a second route.
Do not follow another player blindly. They may be leaving the maze, collecting something else, or using a different update layout. The dated sequence is more reproducible when begun from the entrance.
If the maze contains unique visual landmarks, record them in order during your run. Landmarks survive uncertainty better than distance estimates, and they make a changed intersection easier to identify.
